What reaches our server

ChatGPT sends tool arguments to our server. These may include professional names, public URLs, summaries of supplied material, meeting or investment context, source excerpts and findings. Files uploaded to ChatGPT are handled there, but extracted information may be included in tool arguments.

The service retrieves public pages, Internet Archive indexes and public GitHub source. It does not access your browser profile, cookies, private accounts or local files. It does not contact research subjects or execute their repository code.

Use and storage

Tool arguments are processed in memory to return research guidance, public sources and formatted briefs. The application does not persist cases or source archives. Public GitHub metadata is cached in memory for up to 30 seconds, and commit/file-tree indexes for up to five minutes. Your deck and findings are not placed in that cache.

The service runs on Google Cloud infrastructure. Its dedicated application and reverse proxy do not intentionally log request bodies, tool arguments or access requests. Operational process and error logs can include startup, availability and connection information; application logs are bounded to two 2 MB files. Host operational logs use system-managed size-based rotation; no fixed deletion period is configured. This is not a service-wide zero-retention promise.

We do not sell submitted research information for advertising or use it to train a model. There is no backend model API call. ChatGPT stores conversations under your account settings and OpenAI’s policies.

Public-source requests

A requested source receives its URL request from our server. Internet Archive receives target URLs for archive discovery. GitHub receives repository, commit and file requests. We do not send the full dossier to those source sites. Their independent policies apply.

Support and your choices

You can disconnect the plugin and manage conversations through ChatGPT. The application has no saved case account to delete. Contact support@guangyusong.com with corrections or privacy requests.

Support messages are handled through AWS SES, the private AgentMail/Relaybox mail system and Gmail. They are stored as correspondence and are separate from in-memory research processing. Please request deletion when you no longer want support correspondence retained, subject to any obligations to retain it.
